I like this explanation. The empirical reports have put me off because I know that there is no significant static pressure difference with ANC.

If you don’t experience it, you can rest safely knowing that most ANC will be fine for you :) Drop by an electronics store and test a Bose QC35 to verify, it’ll either be super obvious or not.

Sorry, by “put off” I meant the empirical reports not aligning with any physical explanation has annoyed me. I like to use ANC.
